Wild Kitchen guides wild food walks on land and seashore along the Wild Atlantic Way and in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Unesco Global Geopark.
We also produce unusual food products and dishes from wild food which are featured at local festivals, markets and in our wild food picnics as part of our walks,
Wild Kitchen creates pop up food experiences catering to small groups and will host wild food supper club evenings this Summer.
Products vary with the seasons, and include Elderflower Fizz, Haw Ketchup, Chickweed Pakoras, and many nutritious pestos and tapenades made with some of the many beautiful seaweeds we harvest on our walks.
Guided walks are very popular with families teaching them a new skill out in beautiful wild places that include a horse and cart laneway along the West Clare Railway, followed by a wild food picnic over looking the Atlantic Ocean.
Oonagh has just put together a 32 page booklet on wild food that includes recipes and ways to use our free bounty.
Wild Food Tours and Walks can be arranged for School groups, Catering Colleges and Horticulture students.
We are available for tours and events from Feb. to October.
