The Burren Food Trail members organise an annual series of Long table events, taking place at unusual locations around the Burren. They are a celebration of local, wild and seasonal produce of the Burren, as well as a chance to meet the producers, mingle with local people and learn about the Burren way of life.
Our second year of Long Table dinners kick off this year on the 7th of June, at Teach Ceol in Ennistymon. This event will feature Oonagh O’Dwyer from Wild Kitchen with creative starters from foraged land and sea ingredients, Fiona Haugh from The Market House and her family farm beef from Kilkee and Eva Hegarty of Burren Free Rang Pork in Kilfenora.
The menu is a 7 course menu skillfully created by Peter Jackson, head chef of the Armada Hotel.
Cathleen Connole from Burren Fine Wine and Food will serve wine to accompany the dishes. Unique music performance by Donal McHugh and Frank Healy.
Last years event was a great success and sold out very fast, so don’t delay in order your ticket to avoid disappointment!!
